laser dentistry toolsOur doctors use the Solea® Laser as another way to provide incredibly comfortable dental care. This breakthrough technology is so effective and efficient that NO needles or drills are even needed for the majority of cases.

Solea® proves highly beneficial and useful in a number of treatment applications, such as deep cleanings to reverse symptoms of periodontal disease, gum shaping, soft tissue grafting, removal of decayed enamel, preparation for placement of prosthetics including crowns, bridges, and onlays, or even removing an old prosthetic before a new one can be provided.

With this advanced laser technology, you can expect to experience:

  • Reduced Bleeding
  • Maximized Comfort
  • Faster Appointments
  • Less Need for Local Anesthetic – No Injections!
  • Multiple-Phase Treatment in One Sitting
  • Minimized Need for Specialty Referrals

Solea® is specifically engineered to work faster and more efficiently through computer technology, so dentists can better control the treatment process and patients benefit from spending less time sitting in the dental chair.

Digital X-Rays

At Walnut Creek Dentists, our advanced digital x-ray technology is safe, exposing our patients to less radiation. Our technology helps make x-rays non-invasive, quick, and comfortable while making the necessary information available to our team immediately.

CEREC® MXCL Milling Machine

Our doctors offer one-visit dental crowns using CEREC technology. CEREC, which stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, is hands-down the fastest, most convenient way to get a restorative or cosmetic dental crown. Traditional crowns require two appointments, but with same-day crowns, you will receive your permanent restoration during your initial appointment!

CEREC® Primescan Digital Scanner

Using the latest in optical technology, the CEREC Primescan scanner captures the structure of the gums and teeth to create complete 3D imagery. The images provided by the scanner allow our doctors to deliver your care with greater efficiency. In-depth imaging also allows our team to create customized restorations and clear braces for our patients in a more comfortable manner, completely eliminating the need for sticky, putty-like impressions.

Cone Beam CT Scanner

Cone beam CT offers a rapid, comfortable method of answering many of our clinical questions. The technology produces 3D images designed to help with the diagnosis, treatment planning, and evaluation of many dental conditions, including cavity detection, root canal diagnosis, orthodontic planning, and even cleft palate assessment.

When you come in for a cone beam CT scan, you can expect a completely painless, non-invasive experience. The machine will rotate around you, capturing data using a cone-shaped x-ray beam. From there, the data will be used to reconstruct life-like images of your teeth, mouth, jaw, neck, ears, nose, and throat.
